ONGC Recruitment of Graduate Trainee Through GATE 2015
This is to notify all the job seekers that Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has released vacancies for recruitment of 745 Graduate Trainee in the stream of Engineering and Geo Science. These positions will be filled through GATE Score 2015. The date for submission of the applications via GATE 2015 is from 01-09-2014 to 14-10-2014. 1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Cementing) - 31 vacancies
2. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) - 10 vacancies
3. Assistant Executive Engineer (Drilling) - 110 vacancies
4. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) - 47 vacancies
5. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics) - 18 vacancies
6. Assistant Executive Engineer (Instrumentation) - 23 vacancies
7. Assistant Executive Engineer (Mechanical) - 72 vacancies
8. Assistant Executive Engineer (Production) - 217 vacancies
9. Assistant Executive Engineer (Reservoir) - 14 vacancies
10. Chemist - 74 vacancies
11. Geologist - 41 vacancies
12. Geophysicist (Surface) - 28 vacancies
13. Geophysicist (Wells) - 22 vacancies

Age Limit: For the posts 1 and 3 the upper age limit for General is 28 years, OBC is 31 years and for SC/ST is 33 years. For all the other posts the maximum age allowed for General are 30 years, OBC is 33 years and 35 years for SC/ST. Relaxation of age applicable as per Government rules.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must hold a Bachelors degree/ masters degree/ M.SC/ M. Tech in the field applied for with Gate subjects.
Selection Process: The eligible candidates will be chosen on the basis of marks obtained in the GATE 2015 and Interview.
How to Apply: To apply the desiring candidates need to go to the website www.gate.iitk.ac.in/GATE2015. Register yourself and note the registration number. Now you can apply online via ONGC website http://www.ongcindia.com. The application can be submitted from January 2015 (Tentatively).
