BESCOM Jobs 2014 Application Form for Assistant Lineman Vacancies
This is to notify all the job seekers that Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) is inviting the applications for recruitment of 189 posts of Assistant Lineman in “Lineman trade/ Electrician trade” (ITC). All eligible candidates can apply for this job. The recruitment is open from 22-09-2014 to 23-10-2014. For further details of recruitment notification, qualification, salary,

Details of reservation of posts are as follows:
● General - 114 vacancies
● Rural Quota - 49 vacancies
● Ex Military Personnel - 13 vacancies
● Kannada Medium - 07 vacancies
● Project Displacement - 06 vacancies
Educational Qualification: The applicant should hold the matriculation certificate (10th class) from recognized institute of India and also have a certificate of 03 years in Lineman trade/Electrician trade (ITC) from ITI of KEB/KPTCL in Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited.
Age Criteria: The aspirants from general category should be between 18-35 years. The upper age for the candidates from category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB is 38 years and for the candidates from SC/ST category is 40 years. Please note that the age relaxation will be granted as per government guidelines.
Selection Process: The candidates have to take a written exam and the selection will be done on the basis of performance of the candidate in this examination. Also all qualified candidates have to take an Endurance Test.
Application Fee: There is an initiation fee applicable to all the candidates. The candidates from General Category have to pay Rs. 500/-. The candidates from category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB have to pay the fee of Rs. 250/-. Candidates has to pay Rs.500/- who belong to General category and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, Rs.250/- is applicable to candidates from SC/ ST category.
