The Jobs are distributed as follows:
1. General - 13 vacancies
2. OBC - 04 vacancies
3. Departmental Candidates - 02 vacancies
Age criteria: The male applicant from general category must not be less than 18 and over 30 years. The OBC male candidates should be between 18 to 33 years and for female the age limit is 18 to 35 years as on 15-10-2014.
Educational Qualification: The aspirant should be a Graduate from any recognized university of India or equivalent and should also have the knowledge of languages like English and Hindi and computers
Selection Process: The recruitment panel will select the candidates on the basis of their performance in Physical Endurance test, Written Test, Interview and Medical test.
How to Apply: The eligible candidates can apply for these position by submitting their application on a plain sheet and along with self attested xerox copies of documents required, 3 passport size photos. These should be posted to Dy.Superintendent of Police (HQ), Police Head Quarter, Atlanta Point, Port Blair. This should reach between 15-09-2014 to 15-10-2014 upto 05.00 PM. So please start the procedure accordingly.
Please take a note on the Important Dates:
• The application form is available at all the Police Station from 15-09-2014.
• The application should reach the headquarters by 15-10-2014 till 05:00 pm.
• The Admit Card will be available at the Recruitment Cell, Police Head Quarter, Atlanta Point, Port Blair and the candidate need to collect this between the dates 01-11-2014 to 15-11-2014.
