The Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) was established in 1971, to regulate and supervise the system of Intermediate education in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It promotes the vision of world-class education in Andhra Pradesh.
The AP Inter Board performs numerous functions in the system of Intermediate education. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations and also granting affiliations to colleges.

Intermediate 1st and 2nd Year Examination is one of the most important functions of the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh.
The Board would be releasing the timetable for the 2014 exams few months ahead to allow the students time to prepare ahead.
Inter 1st/2nd year exams are generally held in the month of March-April.
