South Western Railway Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Jobs 2014-15 Notification
Good news for all the job seekers. South Western Railway, Hubli has announced the recruitment under Scouts and Guides Quota to fill the position of Group ‘C’ & Erstwhile Group ‘D’ in various states. Eligible and aspirant candidates can apply for these posts before 20-10-2014. The last date is extended for the candidates from remote areas and they can send their application before 06-11-2014.

Name of the position: Group ‘C’ and Erstwhile Group ‘D’
Number of posts: 08
Age Criteria:
For the position of Group ‘C’: The UR candidates must be between 18 – 30 years and the candidates from OBC category must be between 18 – 33 years. The candidates from SC/ST should be between 18 – 35 years
For the position of Erstwhile Group ‘D’: The UR candidates must be between 18 – 33 years, and the applicants from SC/ST category should be between 18 – 38 years. The OBC candidates must be between 18 – 36 years as on 01-01-2015. Please note that the age relaxation will be granted as per government guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
For the position of Group ‘C’: The applicant must have cleared the Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from any recognized board under government of India and have secured atleast 50% marks.
For the position of Erstwhile Group ‘D’: The candidate must have passed the matric or ITI or something equivalent to this. Or posses the NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate). For more details please refer to the recruitment notice on the website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in.
