Osssc.gov.in Recruitment 2014 Apply Online Excise Constable Vacancies
This is to notify all the job seekers that Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), Bhubaneswar has released vacancies for recruitment of 256 Excise Constable to be posted in various districts and E.I. & E.B. branches under the Excise Department of Government of Odisha. Note that this recruitment will be on contract basis. The applicants can apply online between 19-09-2014 to 31-10-2014.
VACANCY DETAILS
Positions vacant: Excise Constable
Number of positions: 256
ELIGIBILITY
AGE: The candidate must be between the age 21-32 years. The cut-off date for the age limit is 01-01-2014. Please note that the age relaxation will be granted as per government guidelines.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
● The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2), from a recognized Institute under the govt. of India. With Odia as a subject in VIII standard.
● OR Must have passed Matric (10th) in Odia medium or subject.
● OR Have cleared the subject of Odia in VII class.
● OR have cleared the test in Odia during the middle school which was organized by the School and Mass Education Dept.
SELECTION PROCESS: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, Physical standard measurement and Physical Endurance test.
Procedure to apply online:
● Go to the website www.osssc.gov.in.
● Register yourself with valid email address and password.
● Note the registration number and password that you will receive via email.
● Complete the registration form with all the details.
● Reopen the website and click on the desire link of “Pay Manually” or “Pay Online” for fee payment
● Once payment done the Application Form can be submitted.
● Double check the details for any errors before submitting the form
● Take a print out of application form and keep it safe for future use.
