ASUS VivoTab Note 8 Review, Specifications, Features Introduction:
Asus launches another tablet that runs on Windows 8.1. The tablet is powered by 1.8 GHz Quad Core Intel® Atom™ Z3745 processor. As per RAM, It comes in two variants, 1GB and 2GB, however 2GB variant may not be available in some parts of the world. Our past experience says that 1GB of RAM should be sufficient for Windows 8.1 to do basic Multi-tasking without any lags.

Features & Specifications:
- It has 32 GB if internal memory, and is expandable up to 64 Gigabytes via micro SD Card Slot. To add, ASUS provides 5 GB lifetime ASUS Webstorage Space which is a cloud storage service hosted by ASUS.
- It has a decent 8” LED IPS Panel, with WXGA resolution (1280x800), which we found a bit low for an 8” display. It supports multi touch up to 10 fingers.
- It has 2MP front as well as rear camera, however we found Flash missing in the Tablet. The front camera is located just above the display at the central part. The rear camera is located at the extreme top-left corner.
- It has quite decent set of sensors like G-Sensor, Gyro sensor, E-compass, Hall sensor on board to better our experience. It supports GPS as well as GLONASS which assists in Navigation. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Quite a descent connectivity options are present in this tablet.
- At the top edge of the tab consists of 3.5mm standard headphone jack, and a Micro USB port. We didn’t found the tablet to be too thick. Dimension wise it is 124.9 x 211.7 x 8.8 mm (WxDxH), and weighs 330 g which is decent for a 8” Tab. It consists of Stereo Speakers.
- It comes in 4 colour Variants viz. Black, White, Purple, Gold.
- The tablet is powered by a 15.2Wh Li-polymer Battery, which company claims to last for 8 hours at a stretch.
