Google Android L (5.0) Coming Soon, Release Date
Android users should be happy hearing that android version 5.0 L will launch very soon. The expected releasing date is approx. between Sep, 2014 to Jan, 2015.
Android L brought a big amount of new changes with the head of Android is claiming that it would be the one of the biggest upgrades to Android so far. Essentially new designed will make your mobiles and your user experience more cool. And over 5500 new APIs (application programming interface) will be accessible to developers soon.
This version i.e. Android L will be concentrating on the surroundings. Also they have focused on android voice to make impact and comes with a bang. But you must be thinking that when could you get it. If you are a developer and using Nexus 5 or Nexus 7, then it is available from June itself to developers to work on it. Android L has the very giant update on the way it looks. And they have thought for every source such as tablets, mobiles, TV screens and also the way it will look in cars. The material design is flat but having the capability of making every shadow, every wrinkle and every animation look real.
But we cannot dig out in the Android Company that what the Actual name will be. But as per the researches the name will be either Lollipop or Lemon Pie. Lollipop is currently more likely than Lemon pie. Let’s have a look on all the codenames from the beginning. Android 1.0 and 1.1 hadn’t any codenames. Then comes Android 1.5 – Cupcake, Android – 1.6 Donut, Android 2.0 or 2.1 – Éclair. Then comes 2.3, named as Gingerbread and which becomes much famous codename.
Then Android 3.0 named as Honeycomb, Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.1/4.2/4.3 named as Jelly bean, the upgrade in which Samsung have calculated the most selling of their mobiles. And last but not the least, the latest, Android 4.4, KitKat. Android promises the improvement in user’s experience.
