II. Postman/ Mail Guard:
1. Guwahati Division: 06 Vacancies
2. Dibrugarh Division: 04 Vacancies
3. Cachar Division: 09 Vacancies
4. Sivsagar Division: 05 Vacancies
5. RMS ‘S’ Division: 01 Vacancy
6. Darrang Division: 06 Vacancies
7. Nagaon Division: 06 Vacancies
8. Tinsukia Division: 06 Vacancies
9. Nalbari- Barpeta Division: 04 Vacancies
10. Goalpara Division: 03 Vacancies

Age Group: As on 2nd July 2014
• 18 years to below 27 years
• Relaxation in terms of Age Limit is applicable according to the rules

Academic Profile:
• The applicant should have cleared his Matriculation or ITI from a recognized institution – 1st Vacancy
• The applicant should have cleared his Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institution – 2nd Vacancy

Process of Selection:
• Applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in the Aptitude Test

Fees for the Application:
• Application Fee – Rs. 100
• Examination Fee – Rs. 400 for Gen/OBC applicants
• No Fees for SC/ST/PI/Women Candidates
• Fees can be paid through e-payment Post Offices with the e-payment link as follows – www.submitonline.in/dopassam
• The payment should be done in cash by the 7th of July 2014

Application Procedure: 
• Candidates can apply online by logging onto www.assampost.gov.in between 10 am on 3-6-2014 and 9:59 pm on 2-7-2014

Online Instructions:
• The applicants should have a valid email address and scanned copy of photograph and signature
• Go to www.submitonline.in/dopassam and download the application form
• The application form needs to be uploaded with the scanned copy of photograph and signature
• Once completed, registration number and password is generated which the applicants should note
• Once the fee is paid, registration process is complete
• Print out the application with the fee details and retain for future reference

Note:
• First Date of Online Application: 03-06-2014 (10 am)
• Final Date of Online Application submission: 02-07-2014 (9:59pm)
• Final Date for Fee Payment: 07-07-2014
• Admit Card: 15-07-2014
• Examination: 27th July 2014
