Indian Air Force (IAF) announces the recruitment of Indian male and female applicants for Grant of Short Service Commission through the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) whose details are mentioned below. Applicants can apply by the 3rd of July 2014. The application is available online. Age Group: As on 1st August 2014
• 19 years to below 23 years – For Flying Branch
• 18 years to below 28 years – For Technical Branch
• 20 years to below 27 years – For Ground Duty Branch

Academic Profile:
• The applicant should have cleared his Graduation in any domain or his BE/B.Tech from a recognized institution with an aggregate of 60% - For Flying Branch
• The applicant should have cleared his Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical and Electronics) with an aggregate of 60% - For Technical Branch
• The applicant must have cleared his Graduation with an aggregate of 60% and Post Graduation with an aggregate of 50% in any domain – For Ground Duty Branch

Process of Selection:
• Applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination on the 31/08/2014 followed by an Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview hosted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs)

• Candidates can apply online by logging onto www.careerairforce.nic.in by the 3rd of July 2014

Remuneration:
• Rs. 72,150 – For Flying Branch
• Rs. 63,400 – For Technical Branch
• Rs. 60,900 – For Ground Duty Branch

• Final Date of Online Application submission: 03-07-2014
• Exam Date: 31/08/2014
