Quota – Scout and Guides
Grade – PB-1: Rs.5200 to Rs. 20200 + GP Rs.1800
Academic Qualifications – • Applicants should have cleared their 10th Standard from a recognized institution
• Applicant should be a President Scout/Himalayan Wood Badge Holder/Advanced Trained Guide

Age group – As on 1st of May 2014• Applicants should be between 18 and 33 years old - For Unreserved Candidates
• Relaxation in age is according to the rules
Fees for the Application –• Fees for General/OBC applicants – Rs. 40
• No Fees for SC/ST Applicants
• Applicants need to take Indian Postal Order (IPO) or a Demand Draft payable at Ambala in favor of Sr. DFM, N.Rly, Ambala
• The examination fees once paid is non refundable
Process of Selection:
Applicants are chosen on the basis of a Written Exam and Viva Voce
Application Procedure:
• Applicants apply in the suggested format after attesting them by a Gazetted Officer, IPO
• Recent 2 PP sized photographs
• Copy of educational certificates
• Copy of relationship certificate
• Copy of physically handicapped certificate
