1993 witnessed the establishment of Career Point at Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. The main aim of Career Point University is to become a premier university of graduate, post graduate studies and research activities by educating leaders of the future. Pramod Maheshwari is the Chancellor of CUPH.

CPUH offers graduate and post graduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Management Studies, Basic & Applied Science and Legal Studies & Governance. Added to the courses imparted Career Point has many amenities. A few of them are Library, Computer Centers, Laboratories, Seminar & Conference Halls, Language Labs, Activity Centre and Art & Culture Centre.
