UPCMET 2014 Application Form Exam Date Eligibility Notification and Dates
The Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA) that conducts the Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) qualifies students to pursue an MBBS during 2014. The State Level Entrance Exam enables the qualified to apply for the above mentioned under graduate course. Who can Apply?
• Only Indian Citizens can apply for this exam
• The applicants should be 17 years old as on the 31st of December 2014
• Only those candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent from the Uttar Pradesh Board or the ISC or the CBSE can take the UPCMET 2014 Examination
• The applicant should have an aggregate of 50% (General Category)
• The applicant should have an aggregate of 40% (SC/ST Category)
About the Exam:
• The UPCMET Entrance Examination includes questions on Physical Science, Biological Science and General English
• Please refer to the notification to get more information about the examination
• This exam has about 250 questions divided between 2 papers namely
Paper I – 200 questions – Physical and Biological Science
Paper II – 50 questions – General English (Qualifying Paper)
• The exam includes negative marking which means that for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Applicants who clear the test – 50% (General Category)
Applicants who clear the test – 40% (SC/ST Category)
Application Procedure:
• The applicant has to log onto the official website - www.upumcwa.org• The application form can be procured by post or can be obtained in person
• Once all the details are duly filled, kindly send the application form and a Demand Draft of Rs.1000, drawn in favor of ‘UPUMCWA’ payable at Bareilly to the following address
