The Directorate of Technical Education in Chattisgarh holds the Chattisgarh Pre Entrance Test (CGPET) 2014, an Under Graduate entrance examination to qualify to those applicants interested to pursue their Technical career in Chattisgarh. The Application form can be acquired from major post offices. • Applicants must have finished their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Applicants need to have scored an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Applicants should be able to produce documentation to vouch for their local or non local status as per the rules of the Educational Institutions.
• Applicants who have cleared the JEE Main Exam 2014, and have applied based on their rank in the exam, then they would have benefit of being in the reserved category which amounts to 10% of the total number of vacancies

Process of Selection:
Applicants are selected on the basis of their marks in the CG PET exam
About the Examination
• The students are expected to prepare on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• The students are expected to answer 150 objective type questions
• There is not negative marking
• The exam is for 3 hours
About the Results and Counseling:
• Once the exam is completed, the university releases a Merit list based on the candidates' scores in the exam
• Applicants should log onto the official website, http://www.cgdteraipur.ac.in and register themselves for counseling. They need to pay Rs.300 as the registration fees
• Those applicants who are selected for the Counseling session are eligible to choose the institution and the course they would like to
• These applicants must produce their documents for verification
• They are expected to pay the fees for the course too.
Application Procedure:
• Pay Rs. 500 for the application form.
• Fill the application form after collecting it from a major post office in any district
• Affix the photograph (PP size) to the application form and submit the same at the same post office.
