G.P. Birla Educational Scholarships 2014-2015 Application Form
Mr. GP Birla was a very eminent industrialist and part of the illustrious Birla clan who commanded the GP-CK Birla Group. The GP Birla Education Foundation has also been established to carry forward the cherished vision of Late Mr.GP Birla to encourage education, cultivate human resources and empower the young blood of the nation. With this objective, the Trust proposes to grant GP Birla Scholarships to meritorious students who are in need of financial help to pursue further studies. Details of the GP Birla Education Foundation Scholarships:
Scholarship Validity:
• The scholarship will be granted for one year at a time it will be continued till the completion of the course on yearly basis, depending open the satisfactory performance by the student in the preceding year, the same will be evaluated by the trust
Who can apply?
• Students who have cleared class XII examination in the year 2014, and have safeguarded them 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board or would have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests can apply.
• Advance studies might be in subjects like: Engineering, Science, Humanities, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce or Law streams in any of the renowned university in India.
• The applicant, if has already availed the scholarship is also eligible to apply again, and the preference will be given to the applicants domiciled in West Bengal.
Scholarship Details:
• The scholarship amount will cover the tuition and hostel fees subject to a capping of Rs. 50,000/- per student per year
• In deserving cases, with the consent of the trustees the scholarship amount may be increased.
• The scholarship amount will be disbursed through the institute where the student will be pursuing his/her higher studies.
