MICAT 2015 Online Registration, Admission, Dates, Eligibility

MICA offers prestigious Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communication course which is for the duration of 2 years. MICA will update this course annually in such away to expose students to industry standards. MICA has various student bodies such as MICAMINDS, MICANVAS along with MICALS which takes responsibility of training, consulting and helping students in research. This research helps in understanding the depth of learning this course. After completion of this course students will possess the following:
• Commission in research
• Seeking Consumer insights
• Formulating brand marketing strategies
• Analysing sales along with distribution channels
• Evaluation of media options
• Data and information analytics
Duration of PGDM-C Course:
PGDMCA is a two year course which starts in July and will be ending in March of next academic year. While the placements will be conducted in the second academic year.
PGDMCA Admissions for Academic Year 2015-2017:
MICA has announced the admissions into PGDM-C course for academic year 2015 to 2017, while the registrations has been started from 24th August 2014 and will end on 18th of January 2015. Hall tickets will be issued to the applied students in the month of February 2014 while the exam is supposed to be conducted in month of February or March 2015. It offers 180 seats for this course. Application process will be through online.
Eligibility to Apply for PGDM-C Course 2015-2017:
Students who are pursuing or completed graduation either from any of the recognized university or else from institute that has been recognized by Association of Indian Universities such as St. Stephens, Lady Shri Ram College, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Delhi College of Engineering (DIT) and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), amongst others can apply. Degree of graduation can be from any discipline.
Process of Applying to PGDM-C Course 2015-2017:
The application process for PGDMCA course will be through online. Application forms are available in official website of MICA university i.e., www.mica.ac.in and the registration fees is Rs.1,875. The process of applying will be carried out in three steps. Firstly, interested candidates need to register using login-id and password then have to complete the registration form by entering details. The last step is to pay registration fee.
Selection Process of PGDM-C Course 2015-2017:
Process of selection into this course will involve two steps that are MICA Admission Test and Group Exercise (GE) along with Personal Interview (PI).
Step-1: MICA Admissions Test:
• Candidates who have scored in exams such as CAT2014 / XAT2014 / XAT2015 / MAT2014 (Feb/May/ Sept/Dec) / CMAT2014 (Feb / Sept) / ATMA2014 (Feb/May/July) / GMAT (2011 onwards) can apply to MICAT and they will be called to take the exam.
• MICAT tests a candidates analytical ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, divergent thinking, written communication skills and general awareness about the communications industry.
• MICAT exam will be conducted in February / March 2015 at these centers Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Luknow and Mumbai.

• Depending on the score in Mudra Institute of Common Admission Test candidates will be called for group exercise along with personal interview which will be conducted in the month of March or April 2015.
