1. English Stenographer: 03 Vacancies
2. Lower Division Clerk: 06 Vacancies
3. Process Server/ Summon Bailiff: 16 Vacancies
4. Peon/ Night Guard/ Day Guard/ Farash: 17 Vacancies
5. Group D (Mali): 01 Vacancy
Age Group: As on 1st January 2014
• 18 years to below 40 years – 1st Vacancy (Between 03/07/1985 and 30/06/1995)
• Relaxation in terms of Age Limit is as follows and applicable according to the rules
5 years – For SC/ST Applicants
3 years – For OBC Applicants
45 years – For Physically Challenged Applicants
Academic Profile:
• The applicant should have cleared his Madhyamik from a recognized institution or equivalent – 1st and 2nd Vacancies
• The applicant should have a Certificate in Computer Training with a speed of 80 words per minute (shorthand) and 30 words per minute ( Typewriting) in English – 1st and 2nd Vacancies
• The applicant should have cleared his 8th standard – 3rd, 4th and 5th Vacancies
Process of Selection:
• Applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in Written, Typing (for 1st Vacancy) and Personality Tests and by conducting a Personal Interview.
Fees for the Application:
• For SC/ST Applicants – Rs. 50 - For 1st and 2nd Vacancies
• For Other Applicants – Rs. 300 – For 1st and 2nd Vacancies
• For SC/ST Applicants – Rs. 25 - For Other Vacancies
• For Other Applicants – Rs. 200 – For Other Vacancies
• Payment through Bank Draft drawn in favor of "Chairman, District Recruitment Committee, HWH & Dist Judge, HOW" payable at Howrah
Application Procedure:
• The applicant needs to properly fill all the details in the application form in the prescribed format
• The applicant needs to produce the following documents –
10th class marks memo
Attested copy of School leaving certificate
Attested copies of Mark sheets of 12th and further studies
Attested copy of Computer Course Certificate, Caste/ PWD certificate,
