Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2014 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer vacancies whose details are mentioned below. Applicants are encouraged to apply between the 01st of March 2014 and 28th March 2014 by 5pm and those from distant areas prior to or on 04th April 2014. Academic Qualifications – • 1st Position - Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2nd Position - 3 years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 3rd Position - 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 4th Position - 2 years working experience in the field of civil construction in monitoring and executive of projects.
• 5th Position - Degree in Civil Engineering
• 6th Position - Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 7th Position - 3 years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 8th Position - Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Age group - • Applicants should be between 18 and 27 years - For 1st and 2nd Positions
• Applicants should not be over 30 years – For 5th and 6th Positions
• Applicants should not be over 32 years – For 8th Position
• Applicants should be between 18 and 27 years – For 7th Position
• Applicants should be over 30 years – For 3rd and 4th Position
• Relaxation with respect to age for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ EXS/ Central Government Civilian Employees or Defense Personnel disabled candidates
Fees for the Application –• No Fees for SC/ ST/PH/ Ex - Serviceman applicants
• Applicants need to pay Rs. 100 through the SBI either as a Challan or net banking
Process of Selection: Applicants are selected on the basis of their written test and interview
Application Procedure: Applicants should apply on http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in between 01st March 2014 and 26th of March 2014 by 5pm for Part 1 and 28th of March 2014 by 5pm for Part 2. Every candidate would be required to send only one application form
Online Instructions:
• Go to www.ssconline.nic.in and fill in the application form with all the required fields
• Print out the registration form
• Applicants need to pay their application fees either online through the SBI net banking and cash through the SBI challan
• Signature and the photograph should be affixed on the form
• Photocopy of the challan should be kept for further reference.

• First Date for Online Registration: 01-03-2014
• End Date for submitting Online Application of Part- I: 26-03-2014, 5 pm
• End Date for submitting Online Application of Part -II: 28-03-2014, 5 pm
• End Date for submitting Online Application of Part- I for applicants from distant areas: 02-04-2014
• End Date for submitting Online Application of Part -II for applicants from distant areas: 04-04-2014
• Written Examination on: 25-05-2014
