Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU ) the only Open University in North East India was established in the year 2006 at Guwahati, Assam. The main aim is to reach students far away who couldn’t commute to colleges through a Distance Education mode. There are many study centers working in alignment with the KKHSOU’s mission.
