Jammu & Kashmir High Court has announced the recruitment of 165 Data Entry Operator, Steno Typist, Junior Assistant, Driver vacancies whose details are mentioned below. Applicants are encouraged to apply on or prior to the 10th of March 2014. For further details about recruitment notification, qualification, salary, age limit, selection process, how to apply, application form, admit card, exam date kindly go through the instructions below ---
Details of J & K High Court Positions:
Total number of vacancies – 165 Jobs
• Data Entry Operator: 03 vacancies
• Steno Typist: 29 vacancies
• Junior Assistant: 129 vacancies
• Driver: 04 vacancies
Academic Qualifications -
• Applicants should have a Degree with good English language skills along with basic knowledge in Urdu and a Bachelors in Computer Application – For 1st vacancy
• Applicants with a Degree along with a Diploma in Shorthand or Typewriting (60 words per minute or 30 words per minute respectively) – For 2nd vacancy
• Applicants with a Degree and proficient in Urdu – For 3rd vacancy
• Applicants who completed Matriculation with a genuine Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s license – For 4th vacancy
Age group –
• Applicants should be between 18 and 37 years - General Category
• Applicants should not be over 40 years – SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC/Govt. employees/Contracted employees
• Applicants should not be over 40 years – Physically Challenged
Fees for the Application –
• Applicants need to pay – Rs. 100 through a Principal Secretary to
• Hon’ble Chief Justice
• High Court of J & K drawn on any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank
• Payable at Srinagar/ Jammu.
Process of Selection: Applicants are selected on the basis of their test and interview
Application Procedure:
• Applicants are expected to print out the application form and along with 2 PP size photographs and the copies of their educational and other certificates as asked for in the notification after attestation and send it to the following address after mentioning the name of the position for which they applied.
• In addition a DD of Rs. 100 should be sent along with the above mentioned documents to
• Office of the Registrar Judicial at High Court Srinagar/ Jammu
• From Leh & Kargil Districts in the Office of Concerned Principal District and Sessions Judges
• During the office hours by the 10-03-2014
