Eastern Power Distribution Company of A.P Limited (APEPDCL), Visakhapatnam has announced the recruitment of 937 Junior Lineman (JLM) positions whose details are mentioned below. Applicants are encouraged to apply on or prior to the 01st of April 2014 (5 pm). Job details of APEPDCL Recruitment:
• Srikakulam: 81 Vacancies
• Vizianagaram: 127 Vacancies
• Visakhapatnam: 135 Vacancies
• Rajahmundry: 284 Vacancies
• Eluru: 310 Vacancies
Total Number of Vacancies – 937 (Junior Lineman)
Academic Qualifications – Candidates must have completed from a recognized Board ---
• S.S.L.C/ S.S.C with I.T.I in Electrical or Wireman trade
• Intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) Electrical Wiring and Contracting (EWC)
• Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA)
Age group -
• Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old as on 01st of July 2014. Those who had earlier applied based on the notification on the 22nd of Dec 2011 would be considered.
• Relaxation in terms of Age Limit is applicable to SC personnel – 5 years
Process of Selection: Applicants are selected on the basis of their performance in -
• Meter Reading Test, Cycling Test and Pole Climbing Test
• Score in10th Class and I.T.I or Intermediate vocational course
Application Procedure: Candidates can send their duly send their filled application form along with the documents as in the notification --
• 1 Self addressed envelopes (11x5 cm) with affixed stamps
• Send the above by speed post to the following address after mentioning the name of the position applied as ‘Application for the position of JLM’ addressed to person concerned as in the notification by 5 pm on 01/04/2014 –
