The Board Of School Education Haryana (HBSE) was established in the year 1969 as per the Act 11 of 1969, the head quarters earlier was Chandigarh later changed to Bhiwani in 1981.

The Board Of School Education Haryana has maintained and strived to keep the overall improvement and sanctity of the education and thus has made reforms of taking stringent action against any unfair practices committed by the students. The Haryana Open School Board also introduced Semester system, it’s the first Board to do so and has also introduced relative grading.

The HBSE holds the HOS 10th class exam every year in the month of March. The Board is scheduled to release the date sheet for 10th class exam in days ahead.

Haryana Open School 10th class 2014 exams were held in March 2014 while the timetable for the exam was announced few months prior. More likely the results are to be released in the month of June.
