The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT), a University level Exam qualifies students to pursue a undergraduate courses in Engineering at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). The undergraduate Entrance Examination enables the qualified to apply for the above mentioned undergraduate courses. Who can apply UPESEAT 2014?• Majority of the vacancies (80%) are filled based on their score in the UPESEAT 2014
• The remaining 20% are filled on the basis of their score in JEE Main 2014 or Board exam
• The candidates who are interested should have cleared their 12th standard examination with an aggregate of 80% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry – Board Exam
• The candidates who are interested should have cleared their 12th standard examination with an aggregate of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry – JEE Main 2014
• The applicant should have scored 113 in the JEE Main 2014
• The applicant should have secured a rank less than 2 lakhs
• The applicant should have been born on or later than1st October 1992
About the UPESEAT Exam:
• The UPESEAT includes 200 questions in the following subjects –
Physics – 50 questions
Chemistry – 50 questions
Mathematics – 50 questions
English Language Comprehension - 30
Awareness on Current Affairs - 20

Fees for the Application Form:
• Fees for Applicants – Rs. 1750, if payment is made through credit or debit card
• Fees for Applicants – Rs. 1850, if payment is made through Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘UPES Fee Account’, Payable at Dehradun / New Delhi
• Fees for Applicants – Rs. 1750, if payment is made in cash
UPESEAT Application Procedure:
• Go to the official website www.upes.ac.in and download the application form
• The application can be purchased from the Admission Centres in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Delhi and others (refer to notification for more information)
• The application form can also be purchased from certain branches of Axis Bank
How to Apply Online?
• The candidates who wish to take this exam needs to log onto the UPES official website and register themselves
• Once they do so, they receive a user ID and Password that they can use to log in and fill the application form
• They need to read the instructions carefully before filling the application form
• The candidates are requested to duly fill all the fields in the application form
• The candidate has to upload his scanned signature and photograph to complete the process
• The candidate needs to enter the exam fee payment details
• The application form needs to be printed and saved for future use
