2004 witnessed the establishment of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University at Nandinagar Campus, Bidar. The main aim of the university is to impart education and research methodology in the fields of Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences. DR. C. RENUKAPRASAD is the present Vice Chancellor. KVAFSU Bidar offers graduate and post graduate courses in Food Business, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries.
